Engr. Emmanuel Kwesi Boadu, F.IET
Engr. Emmanuel Boadu holds Electrical Engineering Technicians Certificates I, II and III as well as the Full Technological Certificate. He also holds the Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Communication Engineering as well as Post Graduate Certificate and Diploma in Occupational Safety, Health and Environment. He has additionally undertaken Executive Certificate Courses in Business Administration, and Disaster Management. Engr. Boadu has had countless in-service training programmes with reputable training institutions. Engr. Boadu has had a long career stint with the Electricity Company of Ghana where he began serving from 1983 as Technician Engineer (Control), Senior Technician Engineer, Principal Technician Engineer, Chief Technician Engineer and District Engineer. In 2001, he was appointed Maintenance and Safety Engineer until 2007 when he assumed other roles. Culminating in Acting District Manager in 2010, position that was confirmed in 2015 before he proceeded on retirement from the firm. Engr. E.K. Boadu joined I.E.T. as a Corporate Member and was inducted as a Fellow in 1987. In 2015, he was elected President of I.E.T. and took office in January 2016 for a two-year tenure ending December 2017. Since then, he has assumed the status of the Immediate-Past President (IPP).
